Support is tailored to your individual circumstances, goals and needs.

Backing U offers in-person counselling from Southport on the Gold Coast, Queensland, as well as flexible telehealth and remote counselling options for people who may be unable to attend in person.

Yes. Backing U provides convenient telehealth counselling by secure video or phone, allowing you to access professional support from the comfort and privacy of your own environment. Telehealth can be particularly helpful for people with busy schedules, transport difficulties or those living outside the immediate Gold Coast area.

Yes. We provide confidential and judgment-free support for people experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges, addictive behaviours and gambling-related harm. Counselling can explore contributing factors, triggers, emotional wellbeing and healthier coping strategies while supporting recovery, stability and positive long-term change.

Yes. Backing U provides relationship counselling for both individuals and couples. Support may help with communication difficulties, recurring conflict, trust concerns, emotional disconnection, attachment issues, intimacy, family stress and major relationship changes. You can attend relationship counselling individually or together with your partner.
